Basionym: Cirrhopetalum refractum Zoll. View in CoL , Flora 30: 456, 1847.

Homotypic synonym: Phyllorkis refracta (Zoll.) Kuntze, Revis. View in CoL Gen . Pl. 2: 677, 1891.

Specimen examined:— CHIN. Mindat District: Maung Gale-2 & Chit Ko Ko 5512 ( RAF). Also reported from Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 67), but we have not seen any material from this area.

Distribution:—? Myanmar, Vietnam and western Indonesia (Sumatra and Java).

Notes:— Possibly a misidentification of specimens referable to B. wallichii (Lindl.) Rchb. f. ( Pearce & Cribb 2002: 463).
