Shan State: Salween Valley, 1525 m, Mar 1910, Phillimore s.n. (syntype: CAL; isosyntype: K); same loc., Wood s.n. (syntype: CAL).

Specimens examined:— SHAN. Salween Valley: types cited; Taunggyi District : 1550 m, 28 Feb 2014, Saw Lwin SL 41 ( RAF, RAF [s]) .

Distribution:— Eastern Myanmar, Thailand and southwestern China.

Note:— A photograph identified as Sunipia rimannii in Nyan Tun (2014: 417) is not that species, but not identifiable at the moment.
