Sibuyanella Obenberger 1942: 60 View in CoL ; Bellamy 1985: 425; 1990a: 692 (synonym of Obenbergerula View in CoL ); 1991a: 542; 2003: 82.

Type species: Cisseicoraebus bakeri Fisher, 1924 (original designation).

Remarks. This genus differs from Obenbergerula by character states listed in Table 1. The type species, S. bakeri ( Fisher, 1924) was included in Obenbergerula ( Bellamy, 1990a, 1991a) mostly due to the similarity of the dorsal coloration. The color patterns of these species are thought to be mimetic and resembling certain scutellerine Pentatomidae (Heteroptera) , e.g. Poecilocoris Dallas, 1848 or Chrysocoris Hahn, 1834 (as suggested by Bellamy, 1991a).
