CURRENT STATUS: Unjustified emendation of Napaea Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 ; junior synonym of Parydra Stenhammar, 1844 . New synonymy.
FAMILY: EPHYDRIDAE .
REMARKS: Name made available as an emendation by virtue of similar spelling changes in two or more names from “ae” to “oe” in the same work. Napaea Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 is currently treated as a junior synonym of Parydra Stenhammar, 1844 [ teste Sabrosky (1999: 210) ].
