Regional distribution. Radix zazurnensis waS found in Some SampleS collected in the KhoVd RiVer baSin, in the Ulaagchy Khar Nuur lake Situated in ZaVkhan Aimag ( LIN collection), and in the Nariyn-Gol RiVer (collection of ZhaltSanoVa). SitnikoVa et al. (2006) included it into their liSt of molluSkS of the HöVSgöl Lake.
Extra-limital distribution. The type locality of thiS SpecieS—Snezhnoye Lake—iS Situated in Buryatia, cloSe to the RuSSian-Mongolian border. R. zazurnensis iS widely diStributed in Siberia and the RuSSian Far EaSt ( VinarSki & Kantor 2016).
Morphology. Conchologically, R. zazurnensis much reSembleS R. lagotis and may repreSent a junior Synonym of the latter.
