Description

Similar to B. jambolana but differs in having subglobose metasoma in lateral view (acuminate in B. jambolana ) and ovipositor sheath not visible in dorsal view (visible in B. jambolana ).

Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Goa (new record), Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal ( Sheela et al. 2015; Emiliyamma 2016; Gowriprakash et al. 2016; Daniel and Ramaraju 2017a, 2017b).
