Description

Female and male, length of the body 4–4.4 mm.

Colour. Body mostly black with following pale yellow: tegulae, tibia and tarsi of fore, mid and hindleg. The apex of the hind femur. Distal half of fore and mid femur. Reddish-brown: Hind femur, the apex of coxae, lateral sides of metasoma.

Head. Wider than high in frontal view. Head wider than mesosoma in dorsal view. Scrobe touching anterior ocellus. POL 3.1× OOL. Pre-orbital carina absent. Post-orbital carina present. Scape in length equals to F1, F2 and F3 combined. Antennal clava less than twice the length of F7.

Mesosoma . Pronotum, mesoscutum and metanotum densely punctate. Scutellum at apex emarginate and bilobed and covered with silvery pubescence. Fore wing with post-marginal vein shorter than marginal vein and longer than stigmal vein. Ventral side of hind coxa pubescent. Ventro-basal tooth on hind coxa absent.

Distribution

INDIA. Assam, Delhi, Goa (new record), Kerala, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal ( Sheela et al. 2015; Emiliyamma 2016).
