Genus Newsteadia Green View in CoL View at ENA
Newsteadia View in CoL is a genus of 58 species found worldwide, living in leaf litter and in moss growing in moist environments; nine species have been recorded in continental Africa ( Kozár & Konczné Benedicty 2000; Miller & Kozár 2002; García Morales et al. 2016). In life, the dorsal submedian wax plates all project forwards ( Kozár 2004). In Africa they are of no economic significance.
