Genus Gueriniella (Fabricius) View in CoL View at ENA
Gueriniella is a Palaearctic genus containing two species, one of which occurs in North Africa ( García Morales et al. 2016). Gueriniella serratulae ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 ) occurs in Algeria on host plants belonging to 33 genera in 13 families ( García Morales et al. 2016). In the past in southern France, the scale was sufficiently damaging to justify biological control using Novius cardinalis (Mulsant) ( Coleoptera : Coccinellidae ) ( Balachowsky 1932).
