Nilsson (2003a) listed S. margaliti from Israel, Syria and Turkey. Scarodytes margaliti was collected in Israel (Golan) ( Wewalka 1977). The note of Nilsson (2003a) for Syria and Turkey is erroneous because S. margaliti has not yet been found in Syria and Turkey.
