Diagnosis. So far, this species-group contains M. saperda ( Simon, 1900) , M. pardo ( Costa & Ruiz, 2017) , and M. procax ( Simon, 1900) . These three species lack the tegular slit (see Ruiz et al. 2019). The species of this group usually have simple (straight, acute) RTA and poorly developed RvTA ( Ruiz et al. 2019). This condition is present in the species previously described, but the RTA is more complex in Matinta tatianae sp. nov. (see below).
