Diagnosis. Frons approximately perpendicular to broad and rounded vertex. Tegmen broad, not reaching apex of hind femora. Male cerci very broad basally, strongly attenuated at apex, with a small down-curved basal tooth. Male subgenital plate with two thick lateral keels and a semicircular apical notch; lateral lobes strongly impressed. Female subgenital plate deep, short, with a bow-shaped emargination and with sharp apical lobes (from Tarbinsky 1930). Stridulatory file arc-shaped; stridulatory file with about 73.9 ± 2.15 pegs ( Zhang 2016).
Notes. No specimens were examined in this study. The above descriptions about morphology came from Tarbinsky (1930), and those song and stridulatory file came from Zhang (2016).
Distribution. D. nigrescens with restricted distribution, only including Nambovo, Primorskaja ( Tarbinsky 1930) and Amurian (Sergeer 1992) in Russia, Wuchagou Town ( Zhang 2016) and Manzhouli ( Storozhenko & Paik 2007) in Inner Mongolia, China.
