Thoressa nanshaona Murayama, 1995
Nature & Insects 30(14): 33.
Labels: Yunnan Province (in Chinese character)/ Dokanmura (= Tengchongcun, in Chinese character)/ 24-V- 1995 / S MURAYAMA,” “ T. nan-/ choana [sic!]/ HOLOTYPE.”
A male specimen was designated as the holotype by Murayama (1995), and the specimen was retrieved in LBM ( Figs. 31–33 View FIGURES 19–36 ; Dried Insect Database Reg. no. 1500022026).
Huang & Zhan (2004) examined the type and Huang (2011) treated nanshaona as a junior synonym of Thoressa pandita (de Nicéville, 1885) . We follow his treatment. Again, we retain the conventional view and consider panditia a species of Pedesta .
