Phlugiolopsis (Tribranchis) Bian View in CoL & Shi , subgen. nov.
Type species: Phlugiolopsis tribranchis Bian , Shi & Chang, 2012
Diagnosis. The male cerci in this subgenus have 3 branches described as follows: basal half with 1 digitiform process or lobe on dorsal internal margin and 1 obvious lobe on ventral internal margin, apical half cylindrical and incurved, apices subacute.
The subgenus includes four species, namely: Phlugiolopsis (Tribranchis) tribranchis Bian , Shi & Chang,
2012, Phlugiolopsis (Tribranchis) circolobosis Bian , Shi & Chang, 2012, Phlugiolopsis (Tribranchis) punctata
Wang, Liu & Li, 2012 and Phlugiolopsis (Tribranchis) elongata Bian, Shi & Chang, 2013 . Etymology. The subgeneric name ‘ tribranchis ’ is refers to the shape of male cerci.
