In the genus Eupatrella only four species were known so far, with a very disjunct distribution, reported from Burkina Faso (not Ivory Coast as stated by Cook 1974 and Wiles 1999), Zaire, Cameroon, Brunei, Costa Rica and Ecuador ( Goldschmidt & Gerecke 2003)..
