Type species: Cyrtopsis variabilis Hsia & Liu, 1993
Body large for brachypterous members of the Meconematini ; metazona considerably elevated and expanded. Male epiproct well developed and fused with 10th abdominal tergite; genitalia exposed and not protruing, subgenital plate with styles. Ovipositor margins smooth.
