10. Troporhogas trimaculata Cameron 1905 View in CoL
( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 )
Current combination. Troporhogas trimaculata Cameron 1905 ( Braconidae : Rogadinae )
Material examined. Troporhogas trimaculata Cameron, 1905 ♀ lectotype, here designated, NHMUK, Kandy, Sri Lanka: ‘Syntype’; ‘Kandy, Ceylon, 7.02’; ‘ P. Cameron Coll 1914-110.’; ‘ Troporhogas trimaculatus Cam. Ceylon.’; ‘ B.M.Type Hym. 3c.2337’; ‘ NHMUK010635203 About NHMUK ’.
Comments. There is no type depository mentioned by Yu et al. (2016) for Troporhogas trimaculata and no specimens were labelled as types in NHMUK. However, as for other species of Troporhogas Cameron described by Cameron in the same paper ( Cameron 1905), the type should presumably be in NHMUK. There was one specimen standing over the name in the main collection, labelled Troporhogas trimaculata by Cameron. The label data and appearance of the specimen ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 ) match Cameron’s description. Cameron did not mention how many specimens he had whilst writing the description. Although Cameron usually wrote ‘Type’ on his labels, this is not always the case, and the lack of this designation in the present case is presumably the reason why this specimen had not been deposited as a primary type. This specimen has now been labelled as a lectotype (3c.2337, NHMUK010635203 About NHMUK ) .
