Material examined. Catadelphops nasutus (Heinrich 1962) 1♀, 1♂, NHMUK , USA, Arizona, Cochise County, bred 1990 ex pupa Proserpinus terlooii, F. Sala, Cadiou coll. BMNH(E) 2008-107, NHMUK014425409 About NHMUK , NHMUK014425408 About NHMUK .
Comments. There are two specimens of Catadelphops nasutus in NHMUK, a female and a male from the huge Cadiou collection of Sphingidae , reared in Arizona from pupae of the hawk-moth Proserpinus terlooii (Edwards) ( Lepidoptera : Sphingidae ). This is the first host record for the genus Catadelphops Heinrich. Sime & Wahl (2002) noted several host records for Catadelphus Wesmael from Macroglossini , including other species of Proserpinus Hübner , and recovered a sister group relationship between Catadelphops and Catadelphus .
