The females of S. flavifrons have a yellow clypeus (Fig. 58 B). Their metasoma is black and their hind femora are red and only black apically, which distinguishes it from S. varipes (see SCHMIEDEKNECHT, 1906 and SHAW, 2006). Their hind tibiae are black with a white band medially (Fig. 58 A). First report for Belgium; unconfirmed in the Netherlands.
