Cymatonycha castanea Bates, 1874 View in CoL . Yucatán: 11 Km N Mérida, Tamanche, A luz, 27-31-V- 1996, F. A. Noguera (1, EBCC). Recorded distribution: Mexico to Panama. Previously known from the Mexican states of Chiapas, Jalisco, Morelos, Quintana Roo, and Sinaloa ( Monné 2015b; Tavakilian 2015).

Recorded distribution: Mexico to Argentina. Previously known from the Mexican states of Nayarit, Quintana Roo, and Veracruz ( Monné 2015b) .
