Type locality: Thailand, Tham Tharn Lot National Park, North of Kanchanaburi Province ( Nasserzadeh & Komarek 2017).

Distribution in India: Andaman and Nicobar Islands (Great Nicobar Island), Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh (Hoshangabad, Pachmarhi), Odisha (Satkosia and Basipally Wildlife Sanctuary), and Tamil Nadu (Kottayam).

Global distribution: China, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.
