Distribution in India: Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan (Jaisalmer), Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand (Dehradun, Bimtal), and West Bengal (Darjeeling: Kurseong).

Global distribution: Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Yemen.
