Distribution in India: Andaman and Nicobar Islands (Great Nicobar Island), Assam (Nameri National Park, Tezpur, Panbari Reserve forest ), Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand (Ranchi: Tetara), and West Bengal (Bardhaman, Malda, Murshidabad, Kolkata).

Global distribution: Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
