Distribution in India: Himachal Pradesh (Kulu, Parbati Valley), Meghalaya (Garo Hills: Nokrek National Park), Punjab (Lori Sutlej River), Sikkim (Jorethang, Rongpo), Uttarakhand (Almora, Bageshwar, Dehradun, Haldwani, Ranikhet, Phandowala, Suswa River, Kempty Fall, Kathgodam), Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal (Darjeeling, Sukna).

Global distribution: Afghanistan, Bhutan, China, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Nepal, Pakistan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, and Turkmenistan.
