Distribution in India: Bihar (Pusa), Himachal Pradesh (Chamba, Khajjiar, Kangra, Bajaura, Shimla), Meghalaya (Cherrapunji, Khasi Hills), Punjab (Salt Range, Khewra Gorge), Sikkim (Pokhri Nagi Lower Lake), Telangana, Uttarakhand (Kumaon, Ranikhet, Almora, Haridwar, River Ganga, Nainital, Bhimtal, Shivalik), and West Bengal (Darjeeling, Kurseong).
Global distribution: China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan.
