Type locality: Madras , Tamil Nadu, Indien ( Schödl 1992).
Distribution in India: Andhra Pradesh (Vishakhapatnam), Bihar (Pusa, Chapra), Haryana (Kalka), Himachal Pradesh (Kangra, Shimla), Jharkhand (Konbir), Kerala (Malabar), Madhya Pradesh (Narmada, Mandla), Odisha (Chilika, Ganjam), Puducherry, Tamil Nadu (Chennai), and West Bengal (Chandannagar).
Global distribution: China, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.
