Distribution in India: Andhra Pradesh (Kurnool, Prakasam), Bihar, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh (Jabalpur), Tamil Nadu, Telangana (Hyderabad, Durgam Cheruvu), Uttarakhand (Almora), Uttar Pradesh (Etawah) and West Bengal (Kalimpong, Murshidabad, Kolkata, Purulia, Sunderban Biosphere Reserve).

Global distribution: China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.
