Anthonympha speciosa Moriuti, 1974: 109 View in CoL . Type locality. China ( Taiwan).

Labial palpus white, first and second segments with brown scales on outer surface. Thorax white, yellowish brown medially. Tegula yellowish brown. Forewing with M3 and CuA1 separated; ground color white; costal margin with distal half yellowish brown, diffused ventrad to M2, blackish brown from distal 1/4 to apex, from beyond middle to distal 1/4 with three white parallel strigulae obliquely outward to anterior third, separating yellowish brown background to three wider strigulae that are tinged with black scales along inner margin anteriorly; black spot situated before apex; dorsal fascia large triangular, shining brown, narrowed obliquely outward to postrior end of first white strigula from costa; cilia white, with a brown line near middle along apex and anterior half of termen. Hindwing with M3 and CuA1 stalked; white, mixed with pale grey scales distally; cilia white, pale grey along costa. Foreleg with coxa white, other parts brown; mid- and hindlegs white, midleg with tibia covered with blackish brown scales distally, tarsi of mid- and hindlegs blackish brown at apex of each segment on outer side. Male genitalia ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 a): Socius small triangular, with long setae. Tuba analis membranous, sclerotized band on ventral surface extending from base to basal 1/3. Gnathos arched backward. Valva narrowed at proximal base, slightly widened toward blunt apex; ventral surface covered with dense fine setae, with many spindle-shaped spines along inner margin of apex and termen. Vinculum with a triangular process in middle anteriorly, expanded in a sheet laterally. Saccus short and broad, truncate at apex. Aedeagus a little shorter than valva; cornutus absent.

Material examined. CHINA: Guangdong Province: 1 ♂, Heshan, 6.xi.2002, coll. Guilin Liu; Hainan Province: 1 ♂, Mt. Limu, 640–700 m, 4.v.2014, coll. Tengteng Liu et al.; 1 ♂, Mt. Limu, 607 m, 14.v.2015, coll. Peixin Cong et al ..

Distribution. China (Guangdong, Hainan, Taiwan).

Diagnosis. This species is close to A. oxydelta ( Meyrick, 1913) in both appearance and male genitalia. Anthonympha speciosa Moriuti differs in M3 and CuA1 separated in the forewing and stalked in the hindwing ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 a), and the aedeagus a little shorter than the valva in the male genitalia. In A. oxydelta , M3 and CuA1 are coincident in the forewing and connate in the hindwing, and the aedeagus is longer than the valva in the male genitalia ( Moriuti 1974).

Variation. The middle part of the thorax and the entire tegula are yellowish brown instead of white and the brown dot near the base of the costa on the forewing is absent in the specimens collected from Guangdong and Hainan. Despite of these variations, the venation and male genitalia are consistent with the original description.
