Type material examined. Paratype (3): “ CHINE \ Prov KIANGSU \ Shanghai \ MUS:E HEUDE ” [printed]; “Zi-ka-wei [printed] \ 23.5.20 [handwritten]”; “ PARATYPE [printed] \ Haematoloecha [handwritten] \ minor Hsiao [handwritten]”; pinned, antennae, all tarsi, and left mid leg distad of coxa missing ( NKUC).
Additional specimens examined. China. ‘Fukien’ [= Fujian]: ‘Kuatun’ [= Guadun], 2.iv. [19]46, leg. Tschung Sen (1 3, NMPC); same locality and collector, 25.iv. [19]46 (1 3, NMPC); same locality and collector, 12.v. [19]46 (1 3, NMPC).
Note. For demonstrating the characters differentiating H. pusilla sp. nov. and H. minor , the head, pronotum and scutellum of the latter species are illustrated based on the male paratype and additional non-type specimens from Fujian, China.
Distribution. China. Fujian: Guadun! (NMPC); Shanghai! (NKUC); Jiangsu? ( Hua 2000, perhaps referring to type locality).
