THE ELACHISTOCLEIS SURINAMENSIS View in CoL View at ENA GROUP

We recognize nine nominal species ( E. cesarii , E. magna , E. muiraquitan , E. pearsei , E. piauiensis ,

E. s i k u a n i, E. s k o t o g a s t e r, E. s u r i n a m e n s i s and E. tinigua ) and three candidate new species in the E. surinamensis group. All of them have predominantly maculate bellies, except E. muiraquitan .
