Type material. Holotype: Male ( IZCAS Ar39800), near Yarang Huaneng Power Station (29°16'46.02"N, 95°15'12.00"E, elevation 690 m), Medog County, Nyingchi, Tibet, China, 17 June 2016, J. Wu leg. GoogleMaps

Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality and is a noun in apposition.

Diagnosis. This species resembles B. tambligan Huber, 2005 (see Huber 2005: 84, figs 54, 491–496, 509–518) with similar male chelicerae ( Fig. 4B View FIGURE 4 ) and bulbal apophyses ( Fig. 4A View FIGURE 4 ), but can be distinguished by short and wide procursus ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 A–D), by presence of bifid disto-prolateral process (arrow in Fig. 3C View FIGURE 3 ), by absence of proximodorsal apophysis on male pedipalpal femur ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 A–B) and by presence of black lateral margins on carapace ( Figs 4 View FIGURE 4 C–D).

Description. Male (holotype, IZCAS Ar39800): Total length 1.36 (1.42 with clypeus), carapace 0.61 long, 0.55 wide, opisthosoma 0.75 long, 0.56 wide. Leg I missing, leg II: 9.04 (2.56 + 0.39 + 2.31 + 3.01 + 0.77), leg III: 5.90 (0.83 + 0.32 + 1.67 + 2.37 + 0.71), leg IV: 7.79 (1.99 + 0.36 + 1.92 + 2.69 + 0.83). Habitus as in Figs 4 View FIGURE 4 C–E. Carapace pale, with black lateral margins; sternum pale, without marks. Legs pale, without darker rings. Opisthosoma pale, without spots. Distance PME-PME 0.16, diameter PME 0.06, distance PME-ALE 0.03, AME absent. Ocular area not elevated. Thoracic furrow absent. Clypeus unmodified. Sternum slightly wider than long (0.51/0.48). Chelicerae ( Fig. 4B View FIGURE 4 ) with pair of small proximo-lateral apophyses and pair of short, curved distal apophyses each with hardened and pointed tip (distance between tips: 0.25). Pedipalps as in Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 A–B; coxa unmodified; trochanter with short retrolatero-ventral apophysis; femur without proximo-dorsal apophysis; procursus ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 A–D) simple proximally but complex distally, protruding subdisto-dorsally (arrow in Fig. 3A View FIGURE 3 ), with bifid disto-prolateral process (arrow in Fig. 3C View FIGURE 3 ) and large disto-retrolateral membranous process; bulb ( Fig. 4A View FIGURE 4 ) with hooked apophysis and wide embolus.

Female: Unknown.

Natural history. The species was found on the underside of rocks.
