Description of Flavobacterium succinicans SRY View in CoL 13
Cells are Gram-staining-negative, flagellated and rodshaped (1.0 μm long, 0.6 μm wide). Colonies are circular, entire, raised and yellowcolored after 2 days of incubation on R2A at 25°C. Negative reactions are obtained for indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease and gelatinase in API 20NE. Does not utilize L arabinose, D mannitol, N acetylglucosamine, potassium gluconate, capric acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid. Strain SRY13 (= NIBRBA 0000114776) was isolated from a freshwater sample, gut of Coreoleuciscus splendidus, Jeonju , Korea.
