Psilopa nigrithorax Becker, 1926: 36 View in CoL . Holotype,?female. Egypt ( Shubra ) ( EFC).
Remarks: I dentification of this species requires dissection, which is not now permitted in EFC. It is possibly a synonym of P. rufithorax ( Becker, 1903) .
Distribution: PA: Egypt.
Egyptian localities: Lower Nile Valley & Delta: Shubra . Western Desert: Bahariya Oasis .
Dates of collection: February & November.
