Distribution: This species previously was known only from the Holarctic Region. It is now known from three southern Chinese provinces (Fujian, Guizhou, and Taiwan) of Oriental China and one northern Chinese province (Neimenggu Autonomous Region) of Palaearctic China.
Remarks: The LRI (0.77–0.86, 0.82) and LRIII (0.80–0.86) of Chinese specimens are greater than the LRI (0.72) and LRIII (0.73) described by Fittkau (1962). The wing length of the Chinese specimens (1.99–2.45, 2.18 mm) is less than the wing length (4 mm) described by Fittkau (1962).
