Host. Unknown.

Note. Name of S. shannoni was associated with findings of stylopized A. hippotes by KEN- NER (2002). However, he did not provide a description of the male or any other reliable species indication in the publication. If such an association is correct, S. shannoni will be a synonym of S. hippotes . The species status, which was described from a free living male, remains uncertain.
