Material examined: South Island, Canaan Road Terminus, Abel Tasman Park : one paratype from a sample of lichen on a tree. Unfortunately the photos are not optimal due to the poor quality of the specimen .
The plate cuticle has a very evident granulation (with granules that appear clear or dark in different focus positions) and smaller granules. The fine granulation is present on the head plate, on the neck plate, on the median plates 1, 2 and 3 and on the marginal portions of all other plates. The ventral surface seems to be smooth. A band of small granules is present on the legs. The fourth pair of legs without a dentate fringe.
