New material. North Korea, Kangwon Province, Kosŏng-gun, Kumgang Mts., swept in forest at Kwinyon-am Rock, N38°40’ E128°15’, 28.05.1985 (loc. Korea.956), leg. András Vojnits, Lajos Zombori: 1♂.
Diagnosis. Male: Tergum IX deeply excavated posterio-medially, tergum X with a pair of mesal knobs; apex of sternum IX long. Epiproct curved, with apex like an arrow-head; cercus short but with a basodorsal knob. Female: Sternum VII apically enlarged and with a posterio-medial hump; fused to medial sclerites of sternum VIII. Median sclerites on sternum VIII are brown, small and rectangular, longitudinally elongated; their outer posterior edges connected to large, upturned V-shaped lateral sclerites.
Distribution and ecology. This spring species was described from North Korea, later recorded also from South Korea including Jeju Island and from the southern Primorsky area of Russia ( Fig. 32 View FIGURES 31 – 33 ). This species apparently is associated with small streams.
Remarks. Paratype females from Manmul-sang Rocks (loc. Korea.68) and Mt. Bakyon (loc. Korea.112) belong to unnamed species discussed below, under the names Perlomyia sp. Ko1 and P. sp. Ko2. These were referred to as variants in text in the original description.
