TYPE LOCALITY: China, W Sichuan, Kiatingfu .

DISTRIBUTION: Recorded only from Sichuan and Yunnan between 2000-4000 m ( Corbet, 1978c).

SYNONYMS: tarquinus, wardi .

COMMENTS: The type-species of Anteliomys (see Hinton, 1926).
