TYPE LOCALITY: USA, Nevada, Esmeralda Co., Mt. Magruder, Pigeon Spring .

DISTRIBUTION: Sagebrush steppe and desert from S Alberta and SE Saskatchewan, Canada, south to NW Colorado and EC California, including the Columbia Basin of interior Oregon and Washington, USA.

SYNONYMS: artemisiae, intermedius , levidensis, orbitus, pallidus , pauperrimus .
