TYPE LOCALITY: Russia, Orenburg Oblast, near Orenburg .

DISTRIBUTION: N Kazakhstan steppes from Volga River to the upper Irtysh at Zaysan ( Corbet, 1978c).

SYNONYMS: beljawi , belajevi, beljaevi, microdon , pseudocurtatus.

COMMENTS: See Pavlinov and Rossolimo (1987) for allocating pseudocurtatus to A. eversmanni .
