TYPE LOCALITY: Sudan, Dharfur .

DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.

COMMENTS: Usually treated as a synonym of G. pyramidum , but Lay (1983) mustered diagnostic cranial traits that appear to distinguish them.
