TYPE LOCALITY: Libya, Cyrenaica, Dernah .

DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.

COMMENTS: Petter (1975b) and Corbet (1978c) included grobbeni in G. nanus , but Lay (1983) agreed with Ranck (1968) who maintained it as valid.
