TYPE LOCALITY: Libya, Sebha .

DISTRIBUTION: Libya.

COMMENTS: Variously placed in either G. dasyurus , G. amoenus , or G. nanus , but Lay (1983) disputed its association with G. dasyurus and urged that its level of relationship to G. amoenus and G. nanus be assessed by systematic revision.
