TYPE LOCALITY: Philippines, Cataduanes Isl, Biga .

DISTRIBUTION: Cataduanes and lowlands of S Luzon ( Musser and Heaney, 1992). Formerly and incorrectly thought to also occur on Leyte and Dinagat (Musser, 1982b).

SYNONYMS: hollisteri .

COMMENTS: Included within " Apomys abrae-hylocetes Group " by Musser (1982b).
