TYPE LOCALITY: Philippines, Luzon Isl .

DISTRIBUTION: S Luzon, Marinduque, and Catanduanes Isls ( Heaney et al., 1991; Musser and Heaney, 1992).

SYNONYMS: albayensis, nomen nudum (see Ellerman, 1941:293), elegans .

COMMENTS: Sometimes considered conspecific with P. pallidus , but cumingi is a distinct species ( Thomas, 1898b).
