TYPE LOCALITY: New Guinea, Irian Jaya, Weyland Range, Gebroeders Mtns, 5000 ft .

DISTRIBUTION: New Guinea; mountains from Weyland Range in Irian Jaya to Wau region in Morobe Prov. of Papua New Guinea; not known from farther east in Owen Stanley Range.

COMMENTS: Phallic morphology described by Lidicker (1968).
