TYPE LOCALITY: Indonesia, NE Sulawesi, Lembean, near Tondano .

DISTRIBUTION: Sulawesi: recorded only from highlands of the NE peninsula.

SYNONYMS: simpsoni (Ellerman, 1949, not Philippi, 1900); tatei ( Sody, 1941, not Ellerman, 1941).
