DISTRIBUTION: North and South San Lorenzo Islands, and Salsipuedes Island, N Gulf of California, Mexico.

SYNONYMS: lorenzi, ryckmani.

COMMENTS: Considered distinct from P. guardia by Banks (1967); also see Avise et al. (19746), Brand and Ryckman (1969), and Lawlor (19716). P. eremicus species group.
