Microppia minus (Paoli, 1908)

Material examined: Esquel: bare soil (3), Stipa sp. (31), Gobernador Costa: bare soil (1), Stipa sp. (1), Alto Rio Senguer: bare soil (5), Senecio filaginoides (12), Berberis heterophylla (1), Stipa sp. (1). The species was recorded under grass steppe and shrub steppe.

Records in Argentina: Buenos Aires, Chubut, Misiones and Río Negro ( Fredes 2018).

Comments: the distribution of species is cosmopolitan ( Subías 2004, update 2018).
