Regional distribution. Golestan , Razavi Khorasan ( Ghahari et al. 2012) , Mazandaran ( Lehr et al. 2007; Samin et al. 2015).
General distribution. Caucasus ( Mayor 2007), Iran.
Comments. Heteropogon lehri Richter, 1968 ( Diptera : Asilidae ) was reported as a predator of M. vittatus ( Lehr et al. 2007; Ghahari et al. (2014).
